Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Air Import/Export Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team.You will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods globally, ensuring that every shipment—whether inbound or outbound—is handled with precision, compliance, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of air freight regulations, a knack for solving complex logistics puzzles under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining solid relationships with carriers and clients. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Coordinate the daily activities of the air import/export team to ensure the efficient, timely, and safe delivery of all cargo.
- Client Relations & Quoting: Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing accurate quotes and real-time status updates throughout the day via phone and email.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and third-party service providers to secure capacity and streamline the logistics chain.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all relevant trade laws, TSA requirements, and customs regulations to ensure seamless international transit.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement internal policies and procedures designed to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including transit times, departmental costs, and service accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and workflow enhancements to elevate the overall customer experience.
