Oversee all financial operations for a $30 million electrical contracting company in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, and job cost accounting
Prepare accurate financial reports including work in progress and percentage of completion reporting
Develop and track budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and construction accounting standards
Act as the primary contact for external CPAs, banks, and bonding agents
Deliver financial insights to leadership and project managers to support strategic decisions
Identify and implement improvements to reporting systems and profitability tracking
Lead, mentor, and develop the internal accounting team

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA license preferred
6 to 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Previous experience in a controller or supervisory accounting position
Strong background in construction accounting, including job costing and work in progress reporting
Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
Experience working with executive leadership and external financial partners
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop accounting team members
