Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer and contribute to site work projects involving excavation, grading, trenching, drainage installation, and utility work. Operate various heavy machinery including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and compactors while also performing general labor tasks to ensure project efficiency and safety.

• Assist with all aspects of site work, including excavation, grading, trenching, drainage installation, and utility work.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and compactors as assigned.
• Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, pipe laying, material handling, and site cleanup.
• Support equipment operators and foremen to ensure efficient and safe project progress.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance such as greasing, cleaning, and fluid checks.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools.
• Perform other duties as needed to support jobsite productivity.

• Experience in construction, site work, excavation, or a related field.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong work ethic with willingness to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Worcester-area region.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Knowledge of site safety practices.

• Training or certification in equipment operation is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Worcester, MA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.
