Computer Operator, Lead
Job Summary
The Lead Computer Operator performs standard operational procedures and leads support services for internal and external users of the computers and peripheral equipment. The incumbent is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of information and services in a multi-disciplined computing environment, including initiating and monitoring application programs and systems utilities, and quality control. The Lead Computer Operator may require alternate shift work hours.
Minimum Qualifications
»Associates degree and 4 years of significant professional practice or combination of practice.
» practice managing projects with multiple people and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
»Valid US driver's license required.

» expertise of Microsoft products and computer networks
»Requires excellent customer service expertise.
»Highest level troubleshooting capability.
»High level interpersonal expertise.
» capability to follow documented procedures and vendor technical manuals to troubleshoot problems.
» capability to work effectively under pressure and meet goals and deadlines.
» capability to lgain quickly, analyze complex issues and provide advanced troubleshooting.
» capability to diagnose hardware and software problems.
» capability to communicate and cooperate effectively with colleagues, students, faculty and staff in a diverse environment.
» capability to work both independently and as a team member.
Shift
Non-Standard Shift: The Lead Computer Operator may be required to work alternate shift work hours.
TravelLocal travel between campus locations only

Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use
