We are hiring! Seeking a passionate, creative who excels at managing in a retail environment with a strong work ethic and able to integrate with our priority, connecting with our customers.

Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday with possible additional days. Total of four days a week to start. (Wednesday/Thursday potentially flexible)

A Tree Grows In Brooklyn is a s a leading floral boutique dedicated to providing our signature flower handhelds and displays with exceptional customer service. Our commitment to quality and creativity has earned us a loyal customer base. We are now seeking a talented and experienced Flower shop designer to join our team.

Note, ONLY seeking experienced. Must be a seasoned floral designer with a strong history in the retail environment.

Role and Responsibilities: As the Flower shop designer, (manager)you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store while showcasing your creativity as a designer. Your responsibilities will include:

• maintaining all aspects of the retail store when on shift, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Working with our team.
• Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail,
• Minimum of 3 years as an experienced floral designer. We will train to fit our bespoke brand.
• Proven expertise in floral design and a portfolio showcasing your creativity, not pictures of events you have worked on per se, would need to see your own personal level of design.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers, always positive, always a strong desire to help them as much as possible.
• Knowledge of floral industry trends, flower care, and various design techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak floral seasons.

Hours Needed: *Some M-F 10:30am-5:30/6pm Sunday 9-4pm

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Reliability and communication is needed for this position.
