Job Description

As a Sanitation Worker on the 3rd shift, you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean and safe production environment. Your work will involve cleaning and sanitizing the production facility and equipment in compliance with food safety guidelines, dismantling and reassembling equipment, and handling chemicals responsibly.

• Clean and sanitize the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines.
• Dismantle and reassemble production equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Use chemicals in proper concentration as per company guidelines.
• Properly label and maintain all chemicals for safety and compliance.
• Disconnect machinery power source for safe repair and maintenance.
• Remove garbage from the building and transport it to the dumpster.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the production plant and warehouse.
• Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Experience in packaging, picking, and production operations.
• Ability to operate machinery and ensure the quality and conformity of packaged products.
• Proficiency in assembling and configuring machines according to specifications.

• Comfortable working 6 days a week, including Saturdays.
• Adaptability to work in a cold environment, around 40 degrees.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

This role offers an opportunity for direct placement after 90 days and access to benefits such as Blue Shield upon conversion. Enjoy the chance to earn additional income with one full day of overtime available weekly.

The work environment is cold, with temperatures around 40 degrees, and involves exposure to food odors and wet, slippery floors. The company provides protective gear including hair nets, gowns, gloves (two kinds for warmth), and boots (one-size-fits-all, which may fit big).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.60 - $20.60/hr.
