What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification credentials and visitor authorization while documenting entries exits deliveries and other access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by observing activity at entry and exit locations screening persons and/or property as directed and reporting unusual behavior or conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
