As a Security Officer Access Driver in Pennington AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors drivers and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures credential checks and other security-related policies for an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or authorization and document visitor vendor and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points production-adjacent areas parking areas and the perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access policy violations and suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related concerns promptly and accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
