TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will provide pre-hospital emergency medical care, respond to emergency calls, and transport patients while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires quick decision-making, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide on-site medical care.
  • Assess patients, administer first aid, and perform life-saving interventions.
  • Transport patients safely to medical facilities.
  • Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators and oxygen tanks.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients.
  • Document patient care reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols.
  • Travel to assigned locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification: State and/or National Registry EMT certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of EMT experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
